PUBLIC TENDERS – COMMERCIAL LAW – TRILINGUAL FR-NL-EN

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal support on matters arising from business activities involving customers, partners, and subcontractors. Your role is to support the business and the Head of Legal/Head of Legal and Contract Management in all legal matters requiring senior-level expertise. Specifically, you will:

• Draft, assess, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents while ensuring that risks are mitigated and maintained at an acceptable level.
• Assist the business with all legal and contractual issues, including managing claims and resolving disputes.
• Conduct thorough legal and contractual evaluations of tender documents.
• Help the business by proactively managing and directing litigation, arbitration, and other dispute-related issues.
• Handle corporate law issues.
• Uphold the company's Code of Ethics, promoting adherence to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Profile

• You hold a university degree in law and you are specialized in commercial law.
• You have at least 7 years' relevant experience in an international business environment or law firm.
• You are well-versed in international contracts, with practical experience gained through studies or previous roles.
• You have in-depth knowledge of public procurement processes.
• You are fluent in French and Dutch, with excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• You are open-minded, with a strong solution- and business-oriented approach.
• You demonstrate proactivity, reactivity and resilience.
• You have the ability to provide sound risk analysis and reasoning.
