Role

Thule is seeking a Global Commercial Director for RV Products for its Recreational Vehicle Products business unit, headquartered in Menen.

Due to the upcoming retirement of a key figure and a strategic realignment of the business unit, a unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial leader.

As Global Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role within the Business Unit Leadership Team. You are both a strategic architect and an operational leader, with a clear focus on ensuring business continuity today while shaping the future of our international organization.

In the short term, you will provide focus and strengthen the foundation:

  • You quickly integrate into our lean organization and inspire the international commercial and marketing team.
  • You safeguard ongoing business activities and ensure stability and strong performance in a dynamic market environment.

In the long term, you will define the vision and drive transformation:

  • You redefine the commercial vision and lead the organization through a critical transition: from traditional distribution and OEM supply towards direct retail channels and extensive digitalization, including CRM, data management, and online visibility.
  • You drive profitable market share growth through a strong focus on innovation and by identifying strategic acquisition opportunities, acting as a key driver of sustainable growth.
  • You build the future of the organization by coaching, developing, and preparing the next generation of commercial leaders to support our ambitious international growth plans.

Profile

  • You hold a higher education degree and have a proven track record in an international commercial leadership role.
  • You are a commercial strategist with demonstrated OEM experience and a solid background in omnichannel sales. You possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex market dynamics.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are a mature, strong people leader who connects and empowers teams.
  • You are fluent in English and French, with German considered a strong asset given the strategic importance of the German and French markets.
  • You demonstrate a clear international mindset and are willing to travel internationally and maintain a presence at the Menen site.
