Position
As Global HR Director, you will serve as the go-to person to the partners in any HR aspects worldwide (HR Strategy, Compensation strategy, Staff Appraisals, Leadership succession, HR compliance, ...). You develop corporate HR plans, support the human factor in the company, oversee HR initiatives, and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, translating Novaspace's vision into actionable HR strategies
- Develop innovative HR plans and policies aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Compensation & Benefits: Develop and manage the compensation strategy.
- Talent Management & Development: Lead recruitment processes.
- leading end-to-end recruitment processes, from workforce planning to onboarding, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Manage training programs that enhance employee skills, leadership capability, and organizational performance.
- Oversee staff appraisals and leadership succession planning
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations with local support.
- Employee Relations & Culture:
- Manage sensitive workplace issues across cultures with fairness and discretion, foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and compliance.
- Support managers and employees in navigating complex HR matters, fostering an empowering and inclusive culture. Successfully work with diverse, virtual, and cross-cultural teams, fostering collaboration across geographies and functions.
- Stakeholder management: interaction with partners, leadership members, training providers
Profile
- Proven track record in shaping and executing strategic HR initiatives for management consulting companies. Prior experience in a professional services firm or SME environment is a plus.
- Excellent organizational capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion.
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
- In-depth knowledge of international HR practices and multiple labor law environments, including France. Interest in acquiring high-level understanding of local labor law in Belgium, Germany, Canada and the USA is a plus.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills; able to build trust and drive outcomes through persuasion and credibility.
- Successful track record of working with diverse, virtual, and cross-cultural teams, fostering collaboration across geographies and functions.
- You are fluent in English and French; additional languages are a strong asset.
- Experience in implementing new processes and leading change management
