Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector

Quality expert with a strong experience in the Oil & Gas and Chemical industry

Position

As a QA/QC Inspector, you oversee the quality of the entire injector manufacturing process, from initial receipt to final delivery, to ensure compliance with project quality standards. You also perform injector hydrotesting and collaborate closely with customers, vendors and notified bodies on project documentation control, ensuring accuracy and adherence to requirements.

• You are responsible for the receiving inspection, which includes:
  • Conducting visual and mechanical inspections of incoming products and materials, ensuring compliance with purchase orders, company drawings, ASME and EN standards, code requirements, customer specifications, and engineering blueprints.
  • Reviewing and verifying material test reports for accuracy.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the inspection area while implementing improvements.
• You oversee Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) testing.
• You ensure strict quality control throughout the welding process, including the management of PQR, WPS, WPQ, and outgoing product inspections and preparation of final quality databooks.
• You manage the entire document approval process with customers, handling transmittals, reviews, CRSs, and other related documentation efficiently.

Profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably for welding, or extensive expertise in manufacturing, welding, metal fabrication, and machining.
• In-depth knowledge of the oil & gas or chemical industry is essential, with a strong understanding of pipes, pipe fittings, valves, bars, and materials highly recommended.
• You possess strong technical insight and an analytical-critical mindset, enabling you to read, interpret, analyze, and verify contract documents, codes & standards, specifications, and drawings.
• You have a thorough knowledge of ASME and EN codes, and holding NDE certifications is considered a plus.
• Highly organized and proactive, you excel at independently planning and managing your workload.
• You are eager to continuously expand your expertise and stay up to date with industry developments.
• You have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and have a fluent knowledge of English.
