A job interview can feel a bit nerve-wracking, but at Hudson we make sure you know what to expect. We want to get to know the real you, and we’re happy to share tips to help you prepare confidently.
We want to understand who you are, what you’re capable of, and what you’re looking for in a job. At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and find out whether the position is a good fit for you.
An interview at Hudson is a professional yet personal conversation. You’ll speak with an experienced consultant who wants to get to know you — your background, your motivation, and your ambitions. We take the time to listen and ask follow-up questions to get a clear picture of who you are and what drives you.
The conversation takes place in an open atmosphere, where you’re also encouraged to ask questions. Sometimes there’s just one interview, sometimes several, depending on the procedure. You’ll receive clear information in advance about the process, the location, or the online platform.
Good preparation builds confidence. Reflect on your professional journey, your strengths, and your ambitions. Revisit the job posting and note what appeals to you. Also prepare a few examples that illustrate your approach and achievements.
👉 Tip: Use the STAR method to present your answers clearly and in a structured way.
Don’t forget to research the company you’re applying to. Learn about what they do, their focus, and their background. This shows your engagement and helps you assess whether the job is a good match for you.
✔️ Make sure you’re well-rested.
✔️ Be on time, or log in a few minutes early for an online interview.
✔️ Choose a quiet environment where you won’t be disturbed.
✔️ Dress professionally, even for a digital interview.
✔️ Be yourself — authenticity makes the difference.
At Hudson, we believe in transparency and growth. That’s why you’ll receive feedback after every interview, even if you’re not selected for a specific role. We always share concrete tips for improvement, so you know where you stand and how to continue developing. And who knows? Another vacancy with a different client might be a perfect fit for you.
Were you selected? Then you may be invited to an assessment center, depending on the client’s request. This helps us better map your talents and understand what type of role and environment suits you best. No need to stress — it’s not an exam, but a chance to show who you are and what you’re capable of.
