Parker Hannifin EMEA is supported by a network of Parker Operational and Selling entities. For Parker Hannifin Manufacturing Belgium, part of the Prädifa Technology Division (manufacturer of sealing and engineered solutions) located in Boom, we are looking for a HR Manager:
Hands-on HR generalist with experience in an industrial environment
Position
As HR Manager at Parker Hannifin, you will be the trusted HR partner for a plant of 80 employees (50% white collars – 50% blue collars), contributing to a people-oriented company culture. Working closely with the local management team, you play a key role in shaping HR strategy and operations while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
This role offers a combination of hands-on impact at the Boom site and the opportunity to be part of a larger international group, where you contribute to global HR projects and corporate initiatives.
- You guide and support management and employees across all HR topics: talent and performance management, employee engagement, compensations and benefits, labor relations, … You provide support in every step of the employee life cycle.
- You handle the day-to-day HR activities (recruitment, performance reviews, training coordination,…) and you manage payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with an HR Assistant.
- You ensure compliance with Belgian labor law and maintain constructive relationships with union representatives. You play a key role in the Works Council (OR) and Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW).
- You develop and implement a competency management program to support career growth and succession planning.
- You contribute to a positive and productive workplace, driving initiatives such as employee engagement surveys.
- You work closely with the group and division, and you ensure that all local activities and actions are aligned with the values and strategy of the organization.
- You report to the Division HR Manager, and with a dotted line to the Benelux HR Director. You are part of the local management team.
Profile
- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain and more than 3 years of experience as an HR generalist or HR business partner in a production or industrial setting. Experience in an international matrix organization is a strong asset.
- You have a solid knowledge of Belgian labor law and you know how to build effective relationships with unions.
- You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset – ready to take ownership.
- You easily connect with people at all levels, both within and outside the organization, thanks to your strong interpersonal skills.
- You are eager to learn and grow in an international, fast-paced environment.
- You have good knowledge of Dutch and English.
