Responsibilities

In order to develop the Belgian market KraussMaffei is looking for a Sales Engineer.

As a Sales Engineer at KraussMaffei, you will serve as the technical-commercial point of contact for our customers in Belgium (mainly Flanders).

More specifically:

  • Driving Business Growth: You manage, develop, and expand KraussMaffei’s market presence through proactive customer engagement and acquisition of new clients.
  • Strategic Market Insight: By conducting market analyses and tracking industry developments, you create and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals in your area.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: You work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and deliver customized solutions that leverage KraussMaffei’s cutting-edge technologies.
  • End-to-End Sales Ownership: From the first contact to the final contract, you’ll manage the entire sales cycle—preparing proposals, handling negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Global Representation: You represent KraussMaffei at international trade fairs and through interactions with customers, prospects and external sales organizations.
  • Technical Communication: You deliver persuasive presentations that clearly convey the added value and performance of our products and solutions.

You report to the Managing Director BeNeLux.

Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electromechanics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, plastic engineering or a related technical field.
  • You bring at least 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales of complex industrial environments or explanation-necessary capital investment goods.
  • With strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset, you are capable of building long-term relationships and translating technical concepts into accessible solutions.
  • You work independently, are driven by results, and approach challenges with a proactive attitude.
  • You are also willing to travel regularly within Belgium to meet with clients and support business development.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is essential for this role. Knowledge of French is considered an asset.
