Position

Dynamic leader and brand builder with experience in a dealership or franchise environment

Blåkläder is on a transformative journey in Belgium, with a vision to reshape the organization and unlock the full growth potential. The company is looking for a charismatic and hands-on Country Manager to be the owner of Blåkläder Belgium. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to build something lasting, lead a team, and redefine their presence in the market.

This role is for a dynamic leader who is ready to take full accountability, empower people, and build a strong foundation for long-term success. You will be instrumental in restoring the team's atmosphere and taking the brand to the next level.

As the Country Manager, you will have full ownership of the P&L and be responsible for the entire Blåkläder Belgium operation. Your mission is to reshape the organization, transform challenges into opportunities, and lead a sales and back-office team towards a new era of growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership & Ownership: Own the Blåkläder business in Belgium. Develop and execute a long-term vision of excellence, taking calculated risks and demonstrating accountability.
  • Team Transformation: Reshape the current organization and inspire the team. You will lead, coach, and motivate the sales and back-office teams, making them more independent and empowering them to grow.
  • Commercial Growth: Drive commercial success by targeting and convincing key end-users to choose Blåkläder, working hand-in-hand with our dealers to close the sale. You will be a champion of growth, continuously looking for new opportunities.
  • Dealer Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with our network of +/- 40 dealers. You will balance the need to grow with end-users while ensuring our dealers feel valued and respected.
  • Brand Building: Act as the face of the brand in Belgium. You understand and believe in the power of the Blåkläder brand and its unique selling points: a wide, in-stock product assortment and a user-centric development process.
  • P&L Management: Take full responsibility for the country's financial performance, ensuring the gross margin is defended and our business remains healthy.
  • Daily Management: While focused on the long-term journey, you will handle the daily issues with a humble and sensitive approach, ensuring smooth operations and high morale. You will report directly to the company owner Marcus Gustavsson.

Profile

We are looking for a leader with the right values and a unique blend of skills. You are a human and empathetic manager who loves to build and grow a team. You are a coach who finds inspiration in empowering others.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven Leadership: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial management role, preferably in a dealer or franchise environment. You have a track record of building and motivating teams and can prepare a business for growth.
  • Commercial Acumen: You are a P&L owner who understands the intricacies of the business. You are a natural negotiator who can defend margins while building strong partnerships.
  • The Right Attitude: You are bold but also humble, with the self-confidence to handle conflict and the eagerness to learn. You are a charismatic leader who makes people want to work with you. You believe in hard work and have the patience to build a long-term legacy.
  • Strong People Skills: You are a person who makes others grow. You value your team and recognize their contribution to success.
  • Market Insight: You have experience with a dealer-based business and understand the importance of building brand loyalty with both dealers and end-users.
